Kin is a new fund supporting access to freedom, information, and opportunity.
Our idea is simple
When people gain access to information, freedom, and opportunity, they have the agency to shape their own lives.
We accelerate that change by investing in direct impact today while building the conditions for systemic change tomorrow.
Powering the Ecosystem
We help partners work together, endure longer, and scale what works. We invest in organizational capacity, stronger coordination and information sharing across the field, and mentorship and incubation of emerging youth and refugee leaders.
Our PRIORITIES
We invest in networks driving change in one of the world's most challenging environments.
Access to Information
We invest in trusted channels that make it safer to access and share independent information in highly restricted environments. Our partners deliver independent news and content, strengthen digital resilience, and develop digital safety tools.
Access to Freedom
We fund partners who help refugees move safely through high-risk journeys: safer routes, protection in transit, and support after resettlement. We focus on helping refugees recover, build stability, find work, and support family members across borders.
Access to Opportunity
We fund programs that expand everyday economic opportunity, including skills training and employment support, particularly for women. We focus on building market skills, confidence, and pathways to stable livelihoods across communities.
Powering the Ecosystem
We help partners work together, endure longer, and scale what works. We invest in organizational capacity, more coordination and information sharing across the field, and incubation and seeding of new movement leaders.
